Five year member of the Blue Hens • appeared in four matches during his career, including three starts • finished his career with a record of 2-1-0 • Graduated from Delaware in May 2017. 

Played in the 3-2 win over Elon on Oct. 22 • played 45 minutes facing five shots and recorded one save • team won the CAA Championship and clinched a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Started and played in one game for the Blue Hens • started in Delaware's 6-2 win over Iona • made three saves in the winning effort • member of first UD team to win CAA regular season title.

Did not see action for the Blue Hens as the team's No. 3 goalkeeper • team set a school record for wins in a season (14-5-1) and made its second trip to the NCAA Tournament in three years for head coach Ian Hennessy • selected to Colonial Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll.

Three-year letter winner for Kinnelon High School playing for head coach Nick Stokes • two-time conference champion during sophomore and junior seasons • named first team all-conference during his senior campaign in 2011 • also played two seasons of junior varsity basketball as a center.

Paul Michael DeFeo ("duh-fay-oh") • son of John and Margaret DeFeo • born Dec. 8, 1993 • honor student as a civil engineering major at Delaware •  father works in legal publishing • mother is an occupational therapist • has an older sister, Ellen, and a younger brother, Tim • uncle, Cormac Finnerty ran the 5,000 meter race for Ireland during the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta • cousin of Shay Given, goalkeeper for UEFA Champions League's Aston Villa and in his 18th season playing professionally • Given has appeared in over 125 matches for the Republic of Ireland in international competition • chose Delaware for the soccer program and  his love of the campus environment • began playing soccer at the age of five • enjoys playing basketball during free time • has worked as as lifeguard during the summer • served a civil engineering internship with Tadco Engineering and Environmental Services.
