AT DELAWARE
Fourth-year member of the squad as a redshirt senior defender • transfer from Penn State • has played in 32 games for the Blue Hens with 19 starts • two-year letterwinner • CoSIDA Academic All-American nominee • will look to bounce back after missing all of the 2016 due to injury. 

2016 SEASON
Missed the entire season after injuring her knee during preseason drills • team won the NSCAA College Team Academic Award.

2015 SEASON (GAME BY GAME STATS)
Started all 19 games for the Blue Hens on defense while playing 70 minutes or more in all but one game and all 110 minutes in overtime ties with UNCW and Towson • one of six players to start every game • third on the team in minutes played • recorded her lone assist and shot of the season in a 3-1 home win against George Washington • helped defense post five shutouts • took nine corners • led team to berth in Colonial Athletic Association Tournament quarterfinals • named to CAA Academic Honor Roll • CoSIDA Academic All-American nominee.

2014 SEASON (GAME BY GAME)
In first season with the Blue Hens, scored one goal and recorded one assist in 13 games played • had three points and eight shots registered her lone goal (the game-winner) and lone assist in Delaware's 4-1 win over CAA foe College of Charleston  named CAA Co-Rookie of the Week for Sept. 29 • named to CAA Academic Honor Roll.

AT PENN STATE
Originally committed to Penn State but did not compete and retained freshman eligibility.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played at WC Bayard Rustin High School for head coach Joe Corba • named school's Outstanding Female Athlete as a senior • three-year starter • team captain as a senior • named league Most Valuable Player and was selected to the All-State team as a senior • first team all-league as a junior and second team selection as a sophomore • fifth all-time scorer at WC Rustin • member of the American Division championship teams in 2011 and 2012 that also advanced to the state playoffs • played junior varsity lacrosse • Homecoming Queen • honor roll student all four years • National Honor Society and German National Honor Society member • took part in prestigious Allied Health Program with Technical College High School • member of the Penn Fusion Soccer Academy • led team to the 2009 Pennsylvania State championship

Andrea Sue Gunderson • nickname is "Gunny" • born January 17, 1995 in Scottsdale, Ariz. • daughter of Gary and Susan Gunderson • brother, Michael, graduated from Delaware in 2015 and played club ice hockey for two years • honor student as a health behavior science major with a public health minor • plans to enter UD's accelerated  nursing program next year • enjoys swimming and snowboarding in her spare time • favorite soccer teams are Real Salt Lake and the Philadelphia Union.
