Four-year member of the Blue Hens who earned three letters • finished her career ranked second in school history with 1.13 blocks per set, seventh in school history with 391 career blocks, and seventh in school history with a .287 hitting percentage  she posted 772 kills and 134 digs during her career • served as team captain along with Taylor Hollingsworth in 2016 • Graduated from Delaware in May 2017

Appeared in all 32 matches while making 26 starts during her first season in Newark • ranked second on the Blue Hens with a .258 attack percentage and third with 249 kills (2.13 per set) • led Delaware with 131 blocks, while her 1.12 blocks per set ranked third in the CAA and sixth in a UD single season • reached double figure kills in 10 matches • posted a career-high 16 kills and a .500 hitting percentage vs. South Florida on Sept. 20 • also had 16 kills and a .464 attack percentage in a win over Northeastern on Nov. 2 • recorded 16 kills in the five-set victory over James Madison on Oct. 12 • added 15 kills in her UD debut vs. Albany on Aug. 29 and at Hofstra on Oct. 5 • made a career-high eight blocks at Pitt and James Madison • had at least five blocks in 16 matches.

Appeared in four matches while making one start for the Hokies • totaled seven kills, six blocks and two digs on the year • posted five kills and four blocks in her collegiate debut against St. Francis (Pa.) • recorded two kills, two blocks, a dig and an ace at Maryland.

2011 Pennsylvania Volleyball Gatorade Player of the Year • Prep Volleyball National Player of the Year finalist, High School All-American, and second team Academic All-American • led Brandywine Heights to the 2011 State Championship, after the squad was the runner up in 2009 and advanced to the semifinals in 2010 • was named PVCA AA State Championship Most Valuable Player in 2011 after posting 35 kills and six blocks in the championship match • also helped Brandywine Heights win Berks County Division II and District 3 Championships in 2009 and 2010 • selected PVCA AA All-State and All-Tournament Team as a junior and senior • first team All-District 3 pick in 2010 and 2011 • named first team All-Berks County and Berks County Player of the Year during her final two years • participated in District 3 and Berks County Senior All-Star Games • finished her career with 2,101 kills, 676 blocks, and a .343 hitting percentage • set the Brandywine Heights single season record with 889 kills during her senior year • member of National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and National Society of High School Scholars • played three years with Synergy Volleyball Club, leading the squad to a third place national club ranking in 2010 and a fourth place ranking in 2011.

Alexa Nicole Swann • born Dec. 3, 1993 • daughter of Myles and Elaina Swann • has a younger sister, Heather, who plays volleyball at Mercer • earned her bachelor's degree in marketing and management in May, 2016, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in business • visited nine European cities over three weeks during the summer.
