Third-year member of the Blue Hens who has earned two letters • All-CAA candidate • tied for second in UD history with 19 triples, three shy of the school record • also is second at Delaware with 55 steals, 11 from the record • ranks sixth at UD with 91 runs scored • her 19 triples are the most in Division I during the last two years, and are one shy of the CAA career record.

Named UD Alumni Association Team MVP • second team All-CAA selection • named to CAA All-Academic Team • started all 51 games at shortstop, and batted leadoff in all but two contests • served as team captain • led the CAA for the second straight year with eight triples, tied for fifth most in the nation • led the league and ranked eighth in the country with 44 steals, shattering the previous UD single season record of 23 • stole 17 more bases than any other player in the league • swiped 22 consecutive bases without getting caught, setting a school record • set a UD single season mark and led the conference with 54 runs scored • her 44 steals and 54 runs scored totals are both second in CAA single season history • ranked ninth in the CAA and second on the team with a .343 batting average • was second on the Blue Hens with 16 multi-hit games • hit safely in nine consecutive games from Apr. 6 through Apr. 23 • drove home a run in eight straight contests while going 14 for 29 at the plate from Mar. 6 through Mar. 19 • had three hits, including a double and a triple, and scored twice vs. Delaware State • drove home three runs vs. Charleston and Mount St. Mary’s • homered in the CAA Tournament game vs. Charleston • named CAA Player of the Week and National 5&10 Best of the Blue Hens Athlete of the Week on Apr. 11.

CAA All-Rookie Team selection • named team’s Defensive MVP • tied for the Division I lead and set a UD single season record with 11 triples, six more than any other player in the CAA • appeared in all 53 games while starting 52, including 41 at shortstop • batted .360 on the season, ranking third on the Blue Hens with 54 hits • scored 37 runs, second on the team and third in a UD single season • ranked third on the squad with 28 RBI • tied the school single game mark by hitting two triples at Rider • recorded 14 multi-hit games during the year • led the Blue Hens with a .333 batting average in conference games • went 5 for 8 with five runs scored, three RBI, a triple and a homer during the doubleheader sweep at UMES • finished with six hits, five runs scored, five RBI, a double and a homer in the twinbill sweep at Saint Peter’s • recorded seven triples in an eight-game span from Apr. 1-11 • ended the season with an 11-game hitting streak, the longest by a Blue Hen during the season.

HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year member of the varsity softball team at Robbinsville High School • helped lead Robbinsville to 2011 and 2013 Group II State Championships, and  state runner-up finishes in 2012 and 2014 • team won the Mercer County title in 2011 and 2014, and was runner-up in 2012 • first team All-Colonial Valley Conference honoree during her final two years, and was named the CVC Player of the Year as a senior • selected first team All-Area and Trentonian All-Area in 2014 • led the league in batting average, on base percentage, hits, runs, stolen bases, and triples during her senior year while hitting safely in every game • named 2014 Rancocas Valley Tournament MVP • chosen for the Carpenter Cup All-Stars in 2013 • played four years of soccer at Robbinsville, leading the team to the 2011 Group 11 State Championship and the 2012 Group II State runner-up • named first team All-CVC and All-State as a senior • Mercer 33 recipient and was selected to the Mercer County Hall of Fame Team • named Robbinsville’s 2014 Female Athlete of the Year • received the 2014 United States Marine Corp Distinguished Athlete Award • earned academic achievement awards during all four years of high school • 2014 Washington Wellness Center Scholarship Award winner.

Leanna Noelle Gearhart • born July 4, 1996 • daughter of Jamie and Susie Gearhart • has an older brother, CJ, who plays baseball for The College of New Jersey • father played soccer at Cornell, while grandfather played baseball and basketball at Wagner • exercise science major at Delaware who aspires to become a doctor of physical therapy.
