Sara Ruth Komer • born May 22, 1997 in Venetia, Pa. • daughter of Louis and Vida Komer • has two sisters, Vida and Anna • father is a family practice physician and played football at Juniata (1983-87) • mother played volleyball at Penn State (1983-87) • sister, Vida, rowed at Clemson and is also a member of the Water Ski Club Team • enjoys dirt biking, skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, videography and playing volleyball and the violin • majoring in marketing with minors in Spanish and Psychology • lists her favorite sports team as the Pittsburgh Penguins.
