PERSONAL

Three words to describe yourself?   1) Energetic 2) Upbeat 3) Adventurous

What has been your most embarrassing moment?   I've done plenty of embarrassing things, but the one that sticks out the most for me was last year at spring track practice. The zipper on the ankle of my warmup pants had broken off when I did laundry, so I guess I was doomed from the start. We were doing strides before our run and I tripped over my zipperless pant leg and took a tumble on the track. Not only did I fall, but I managed to rip half of my pant leg completely off. I didn't really know what to do so I just laughed awkwardly and kept warming up with pants that were actually shorts on one leg.

Do you room with athletes? What's that like?   I room with 4 other girls on the cross country team, which results in approximately no fridge or freezer space (we have two for each).

What is a fun fact about yourself?   I can do really good impressions of a munchkin from Wizard of Oz. It's kind of weird.

Where is the coolest place you've traveled?   Mobile, Alabama. I have family there and when I was little I would go to all the Mardi Gras parades there.

What's one song on your iPod that nobody would know?   I would probably say Livin' On a Prayer, but not by Bon Jovi. The Alvin and the Chipmunks version. I think I downloaded it in 6th grade and just haven't taken it off my iPod.

Favorite TV show or program?   I think I could watch Gilmore Girls for several days straight. Actually, I know I could because I've done it.

What do you like to do on your spare time?   What's spare time?

Favorite Meal?   My mom makes a killer baked chicken with avocado.

Who is your favorite musical artist?  I would say Taylor Swift hands down, but I met Sam Hunt last year after he performed in Perkins, and he was pretty cool so he's a close contender.

Any hidden talents?   I have an impressive ability to learn the lyrics to rap songs pretty quickly. Gabby Alaimo can too so we rap battle sometimes.

What are your biggest pet peeves?   I hate when the lights are on in empty rooms.

What are three things that are on your bucket list?   1) Travel to all 50 states. 2) See the Northern Lights.  3) Climb a water tower.

Do you have any pets?   Does the possum in our backyard count?

What is your favorite cereal?   Oatmeal Squares, but only the cinnamon kind.

Dream job?   Storm chaser! I love thunderstorms and crazy weather.

HYPOTHETICAL

Who would you like to trade places with for a day?   Beyonce. I want to know if her life is actually as perfect as it looks.

If you could describe your life as a movie what movie would it be?   A Bug's Life.

If you were an animal which one would you be and why?   Definately a baby seal. I have a white Northface jacket that my dad says reminds him of a baby seal so now I have an attachment to them.

If you had one wish, what would it be?   I wish the Smith Overpass Southbound bus stop wasn't so crowded when I'm trying to get down to field house.

What superpower would you want, or what superhero would you want to be?   I think having super speed would be particularly beneficial to me.

What cartoon character would you be?   Probably a minion.

Talent you would most like to have?   I wish that I was able to sing well. I am so terrible.

BLUE HEN

Most memorable moment as a member of the Blue Hens?   Definately anchoring the school record 4X800 relay last spring at ECACs with Shanel Dickens, Melissa Mazzo, and Betsy Erlanger. It was super exciting and a great way to end the year.

Any superstitions?   I have a pair of lucky socks that I've worn for every race that I've ever ran. They were white at one point, but they're pretty grass and dirt stained now.

What do you and your team do to get students to go to your game?   We usually tell them that running isn't as boring as it seems and it's not! People who come to meets really enjoy them.

What is your game-day playlist?   Liz McGroarty and I have a playlist called "premeet" that we lsiten to on race day featuring songs like "Kanye" and "Fly."

What was the best advice ever given to you?   Last year my dad showed me a poster he had when he was in college that said, "The race is not always to the swift, but to those who keep on running." It really stuck with me probably because it was coincidentally about running.
