Jack Durkee joined University of Delaware Athletics as account executive for the Blue Hens IMG Sports Network in June, 2015.
Durkee works closely with Blue Hens IMG College general manager Rachel Catalano in providing sales leadership for the UD sports property, conceptualizing and executing marketing and sponsorship programs, and overseeing all fulfillment.
Durkee is a May 2015 graduate of Texas Christian University in Forth Worth, Tex. where he earned a degree in strategic communications with a minor in business.
He most recently worked at his alma mater, serving as an account executive intern with TCU IMG Sports Marketing during the 2014-15 season. He provided logistical support for clients at football, basketball, and baseball games.
While at TCU, Durkee served as director of communications for the TCU Government Affairs Advocacy Program and served as recruitment chair for Sigma Chi Fraternity.
Prior to joining the IMG team at TCU, Durkee worked as a communications intern with the National CACFP Sponsors Association in Austin, Tex., as a sales and marketing intern with Win the Room executive coaching firm in New York City, and as an account planner with the Roxo Strategic Communications Agency in Forth Worth.
A native of the Baltimore, Md. area, Durkee attended Boys Latin High School where he served as senior class President and was a three-sport athlete, serving as the baseball team captain in 2011.
