WINTER OLYMPICS

Friday, January 19  |  6-10 p.m.  |  Perkins Student Center

Students can compete in teams of 2-4 members on a first come, first serve basis. Teams will compete in games such as Kan Jam, Corn Hole, Minute-To-Win-It games, Trivia and more!

There will be FREE international food, drinks, and prizes for the gold, silver, and bronze competitors. There will also be educational posters to learn more about our international companions. All students must have a valid UD ID to enter.

ICE SKATING

January-February

The University of Delaware Ice Arenas will host special public skating events throughout January and February. Admission for all public skating sessions is free for students with a UD ID, $8 for adults and $5 for children 6 and under. Skate rentals are $4.

WINTER WARRIOR FITNESS CHALLENGE

This incentive program is designed to motivate group fitness participants to stay moving throughout winter session. The more group fitness classes each participant attends, the more prize rewards they earn! Participants must sign up the the challenge online. Regular class registration fees and and reservation policies apply.

Prize levels

Rookie- Attend 15 classes over winter semester (equivalent to 3 classes a week)

Novice- Attend 20 classes over winter semester (equivalent to 4 classes a week)

Expert- Attend 25 classes over winter semester (equivalent to 5 classes a week)

TOP HEN CHALLENGES

Do you have what it takes to be named a Top Hen? Find out by participating in the various fitness challenges held in the Lil Bob fitness center throughout the year. Each challenge has a male and female bracket with 6 weight groups to ensure fairness. Winners of each division earn the Top Hen tank top and will be entered into a prize raffle.

SELF DEFENSE 

This 6-week long program teaches participants how to properly defend themselves in any situation. Participants will learn to have better awareness of their surroundings while developing tools to avoid and get out of a hostile situation. The program is taught by 3rd degree Black Belt Sensei Frankie D’Astoli.  |  $25

LIFT LIKE A GIRL

This 6-week program will teach female students how to do basic full body exercises using dumbbells and barbells. The class meets once a week and consists of an educational segment followed by a full body workout. There will also be an option to participate in a VIP session in the strength room before the CSB opens. The class is limited to 15 participants.  |  $25
