RICHMOND, Va. – Following a crucial win this past Sunday, the Blue Hens swept the CAA Weekly accolades as Greta Nauck was named the CAA Player of the Week while Lotte de Koning garnered Rookie of the Week honors.
Nauck earned her second recognition of the year after leading then-No. 7 Delaware with two goals in a crucial 5-2 victory over conference rival James Madison. With her four points, the junior forward bypassed Kelly Cawleys school record of 127 career points and is now atop the Hens leaderboard with 129 points (55g, 19a).
De Koning collected her second straight, and third overall, Rookie of the Week honor with two assists against the then-No. 16 Dukes. The midfielder is third on the team and leads all UD freshmen with 20 points (8g, 4a).
The No. 8 Hens travel to No. 21 Saint Joseph’s for a 1 p.m. contest Saturday before heading to the Big Apple to face Columbia at 1 p.m. Sunday.
