NEWARK, Del. --
University of Delaware softball head coach John Seneca has announced that five high school standouts have signed National Letters of Intent with the Blue Hens and will enroll at UD next fall.

Kassidy Krupit, a pitcher/utility from Suwanee, Ga., was recently named a FloSoftball First Team All-American. A four-time Georgia All-State honoree at Lambert High School, Krupit was selected the 2017 All-Region 7A Player of the Year. Additionally, she was tabbed the 2016 County Pitcher of the Year.

Hanna Garber, a utility from Lancaster, Pa., was named the 2017 Class 5A Pennsylvania Player of the Year. She is a three-time first team All-State selection at Lampeter-Strasburg High School, and also has been named Lancaster-Lebanon All-Section and a League All-Star three times. Additionally, Garber has twice been selected to the Berks-Lancaster-Lebanon Carpenter Cup Team.

Halle Kisamore, a utility from Reading, Pa., is a three-year starter as a catcher at Exeter High School. An All-Berks County honoree, Kisamore has led Exeter to the Lancaster-Lebanon/Berks Carpenter Cup team championship in each of her last two years. Last season she was named to the Pennsylvania 6A All-State team as a catcher.

Brooke Glandon, a utility from Felton, Del., was a first team All-State pick last year after earning second team honors in 2016 as a third baseman at Lake Forest High School. A two-time first team All-Conference honoree, Glandon was tabbed Offensive MVP at the 2017 USSSA East National Championship.

Brittney Mendoza, a utility from Chula Vista, Calif., is a four-year varsity starter at Bonita Vista High School. She led Bonita Vista to the 2016 high school tournament championship, and earned the team MVP award as a sophomore. Mendoza hit three home runs at the 2017 TCS Monster Mash Tournament, and helped lead her team to the 2017 NIT Tournament title.

“We are very excited to welcome this extremely talented class,” Seneca said. “They will move the needle and elevate the Blue Hen softball program.”
