• Delaware is looking to snap a six-game skid on Thursday when the Blue Hens host Northeastern.
• The Blue Hens cut a 17-point deficit to five late in the second half last Saturday at Elon, before falling to the Phoenix, 89-76, at Alumni Gym.
• Ryan Allen scored a career-high 26 points, and has led Delaware in scoring in five of the last six games.
• Allen has reached double figures in 18 of the last 20 games, including nine straight. He has made a three-pointer in all 22 games of his career, tied for the third longest streak in UD history.
• Allen earned his third CAA Rookie of the Week honor on Monday after averaging 22.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in the Blue Hens’ two games last week against Towson and Elon.
• Allen’s 62 three-pointers this season are currently ninth most by a Division I freshman, and six shy of the UD single season record.
• Eric Carter notched his seventh double-double of the season, tied for third most in the CAA, with 13 points and 13 rebounds vs. Elon.
• Jacob Cushing, who had scored 12 points in his first five games back after suffering a broken nose, erupted for a career-high 19 points against the Phoenix.
• Delaware leads the all-time series with Northeastern, 28-25, but the Huskies have taken five of the last six meetings.
• The Huskies took the first matchup this season with a 76-64 victory on Jan. 20 at Matthews Arena.
