Four-year standout at tight end for Delaware • enjoyed one of the finest careers ever for a tight end in UD history • earned All-American honors and was selected to play in the Senior Bowl as a senior • two-time All-Colonial Athletic Association selection • played 41 career games with 36 starts and caught 101 passes for 984 yards (9.7 avg.) and 12 touchdowns • Delaware's all-time leader among tight ends for receptions and No. 2 in yards and touchdowns •
also returned three kickoffs for 27 yards (9.0 avg.) in career • has great size and is an outstanding blocker • tough and athletic pass catcher who can be a punishing hitter as well as an elusive runner after the catch • did not serve in that capacity while at Delaware but also has the ability to deep snap.

Had a breakout season for Delaware as one of the nation's top tight ends • earned second team All-CAA honors • Blue Hen Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Week vs. James Madison and William & Mary • ranked third on the squad in receiving with 42 catches for 474 yards, and seven touchdowns • caught a pass in all 12 games • led all CAA tight ends and was No. 7 among NCAA FCS tight ends with 42 receptions • caught season and career-high five passes vs. Jacksonville, James Madison, Albany, and Towson • had season and career-high 73 yards receiving vs. Albany • caught two touchdown passes vs. James Madison, becoming first UD tight end to accomplish that since 2006 • also caught touchdowns vs. Jacksonville, Delaware State, Wagner, Rhode Island, and Richmond.

Enjoyed an outstanding season for the Blue Hens as the team's starting tight end • appeared in 10 games with seven starts and ranked fifth on the team in receiving with 20 receptions for 181 yards (9.1 avg.) to rank among the top tight end pass-catchers in the CAA • missed Bucknell game in September with an injury • enjoyed top career game late in season vs. Towson when he caught five passes for 63 yards • also had four catches for 45 yards vs. Delaware State and three for 24 yards against Rhode Island • recorded two tackles in season opener vs. West Chester.

One of just five true freshmen to see game action • expected to redshirt but was pressed into action in the fifth game of the season due to season-ending injury to starter Colin Naugle • appeared in seven games and started five of them, including contests vs. Maine in collegiate debut, Rhode Island, Towson, Richmond, and Villanova • caught two passes for 25 yards, including an 11-yard reception on his first play of his collegiate career vs. Maine • hauled in a 15-yard touchdown reception from Tim Donnelly vs. Massachusetts.

Played tight end and defensive line for head coach Jim Delane at High Point Regional High School • three-year starter on both sides of the ball in football • earned first team all-conference honors on defense as a senior • served as team captain • set a school single season record with 10 sacks • led team to an 8-3 record in 2010 and led squad to a berth in the state semifinals • also a standout in basketball where he was a three-year starter and served as team captain • earned first team all-conference honors in 2011 and second team all-conference honors in 2011.
