Meghan Eileen Winesett (“wine—sett”) • born July 20, 1995 in Alexandria, Va. • daughter of Sharon and Archie Winesett • has two siblings, AJ and Erin • majoring in human services • enjoys snowboarding, golfing and hiking • favorite sports teams include the Washington Capitals, Redskins and Nationals • chose Delaware because it has the ideal combination of strong academics and exceptional athletics • also felt that UD was exactly the size she was looking for and it has a beautiful campus • grew up playing ice hockey • team representative to Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
