Elizabeth Donnelly Duffey (Lizzie) • born September 27, 1993 in Mount Holly, N.J. • daughter of Kevin and Noreen Duffey • has an older sister, Katie, who played lacrosse at Johns Hopkins University (2009-2013) • also has a twin sister, Emily, who plays lacrosse at Drexel • began playing lacrosse in fourth grade • majoring in health behavior science with a minor in public health • cites older sister, Katie, as the biggest influence on her as an athlete because Katie has had much success in both athletics and academics throughout high school and college • chose Delaware because the great academics and athletics will prepare her for the future and the school has a good reputation • superstitions include putting her right shoe on before her left • loves to travel • interned in the regulatory department at Iroko Pharmaceuticals during the summer.
