Club Tennis

Spirit of the Game

We are a very close group of kids that definitely know how to create a fun and laid back atmosphere while also aiming to improve our game. The combined men and women's playing style brings a unique experience that most of us didn't get to play in high school. We aim to bring people who like tennis together, not just to get better at their game, but to make friends and enjoy the sport.

Organizational Meeting(s)

One interest meeting at the start of each semester. Fall meeting will be in early September.

All of our players have playing experience in high school and most of us in junior tournaments as well. The tennis club has an "A" and a "B" team. In matches, our "A" team start 7 guys and 7 girls and we have about 3-4 alternates for both sides. For our "B" team, we start 4 guys and 4 girls with 3 alternates for each side. Typically we have about 20 men and 20 women.

The club tennis seasons are both fall and spring with practices typically Monday-Thursday from approx. 3:30-5 at the courts behind the Little Bob. We may also have night practices from 8-10 PM at the varsity courts at Delaware Field House.
