Tim Anger was hired at the University of Delaware as the athletics business manager in September 2011 and will begin his fifth season at UD in 2015-16.
He is responsible for completing EADA and NCAA filings, overseeing equipment and apparel purchases, preparing and managing budgets for all 21 sports plus administrative departments, managing all internal and external audits, performing revenue and expense analysis, preparing monthly revenue and expense account reconciliations, and managing all other daily business operations.
A native of Boston, Mass., Anger previously worked as a senior accountant at John Hancock. He also spent time at NMT Medical and Fx Group as a staff accountant.
Anger received his bachelor of arts degree in management from Assumption College in 2002 and a MBA from Nichols College in 2009.
While at Assumption, Anger was a member of the golf team from 2000-02 and was a team captain his senior season. While working at John Hancock, Anger worked in game day marketing at Harvard University and Boston College and game day operations at Holy Cross.
In his spare time, Anger is an avid runner and golfer.
