|Christine (CK) is the Assistant Director of Recreation and oversees the fitness programs and fitness facilities at UD. She has a degree in exercise science and masters in Health Studies. She is certified through ACE in personal training and group exercise and is also a Crossfit level 1 coach. She teaches UD Cycle, when free time allows!||Whitney is the Fitness Coordinator for Recreation and helps oversee the fitness programs and facilities here at UD. She is certified to teach: Cycling, Kickboxing, Pilates, Bootcamp, BODYPUMP, and other formats. Whitney is also an avid bodybuilder and competes in the NPC Figure Division.|
|Alex is certified to teach Zumba and is a new addition to our UD Group Fitness staff!||Andrea is a Junior at UD majoring in Health Behavior Science with a minor in Biological Sciences. She is newly certified in Cardio Sport and is excited to combine her passion for soccer with personal fitness.|
||Brian is a graduate student with a master's degree in disaster science and management and is currently pursuing an MBA degree. He also was a former intercollegiate athlete who currently certified to teach BodyPump, Kickboxing, Cardio Sport, and CXWORX. He has great energy and his classes are always challenging but fun.|
|Casey is a junior Economics major and a new cycle instructor at UD. Her original passions were swimming and running, but cycling is taking over. Her goal is to create a fun, high energy but challenging environment to help improve people at all fitness levels. Casey believes that group fitness is a great way to motivate people to push themselves further!||Catherine (Capps) is an Art and English major and a lover of yoga, tea, hiking, book candy, and pinterest. She teaches both restorative and hatha vinyasa yoga, with a very high emphasis on breath, "the breath is the boss!" She prefers a physically demanding and creative sequencing for a sweaty yet super fun flow. Her number one goal is that all yogis and yoginis who attend one of her classes leave feeling healthier, happier, and with a strengthened sense of self-love.|
|Chelsea is a Junior at UD majoring in Athletic Training and minoring in Strength and Conditioning. She is newly certified in BodyPump and currently works at the CSB as front desk supervisor, fitness supervisor, and building supervisor. She hopes to get certified in personal training and more group fitness classes in the future!||Claire is a UD Junior majoring in Exercise Science with minors in Coaching Science and Strength and Conditioning. She recently completed her NASM Personal Training certification program this summer. She is a dedicated athlete and avid runner. She looks forward to sharing her passion and motivating others to stay fit by working out.|
|Courtney is a senior at UD studying Exercise Science. She is a newly certified Bodypump instructor and is very excited to have the opportunity to teach this semester! She hopes to get certified in another fitness programs in the near future.||Emma B. is certified to teach cycle! She earned her Bachelors in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and now is a first-year Physical Therapy student here at UD. When she's not studying, she loves exploring Delaware by bike and competing in triathlons. She can't wait to see you all on the bike!|
|Emma M. is a dedicated yoga instructor who received her certification at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts. A former gymnast, Emma specializes in creating high-intensity, physically challenging classes using creative pose sequences and transitions. She stresses the importance of the breath and encourages participants to practice self-awareness and self-acceptance both on and off the mat. Her empowering classes are sure to leave you feeling sweaty and rejuvenated!||Gabi is a new UD Cycle instructor, but she has always had a strong interest in personal and group fitness! She tries to create classes that will be fun, challenging, and that will cater to the individual needs of students! Gabi is very active in campus life, and hopes to become a medical social worker one day.|
|Haley is a a recent graduate of the University of Delaware and engineer in Wilmington, who lives by the motto "you can have fun while getting a great work out." She is certified to teach Zumba.||Imani is newly certified in Cardio Sport and is excited to combine her past of athleticism into personal fitness. As a high school athlete, she participated in track, soccer, cheerleading, lacrosse, and flag football, and as a college athlete, she is on the women’s club rugby football team. Imani is nothing but enthusiastic about the fitness world!|
|Ines is a Health Promotion graduate student at UD, where she serves as a graduate assistant coordinating research studies and teaching 1 credit fitness classes (bhan120 Fitness Bootcamp). She is a certified Bodypump instructor for recreation and strives to teach her students safe and effective exercise form in a fun, supportive, and motivational environment! Her passion is disease prevention via increasing physical activity levels in individuals and in the population as a whole.||Jaime has been teaching fitness classes since 2011. She is a certified BODYPUMP instructor and also teaches HIIT and strength/toning. When not teaching/taking fitness classes or training for half marathons, she works full-time as a geologist at UD.|
|Jenny is a junior majoring in Health Behavior Sciences. Her career aspiration is to become an Occupational Therapist. She is a certified Zumba instructor, as well as a certified Gymnastics teacher.||Kait is a former division 1 athlete that played softball for the University of Delaware. She was a strength and conditioning and sports nutrition intern for UD, working primarily with football and men's lacrosse. She then earned a position as athletic performance and performance nutrition intern at the University of Texas in Austin working with the women's volleyball team, women's soccer team, and men's football. After leaving Austin she became a certified personal training and worked for the YMCA of Delaware at the bear-glasgow location. She has worked with a diverse population: from youth athletes to aging adults, and those with severe disabilities. She has a true passion for helping others!
|Kim is a senior majoring in Dietetics. She teaches HIIT & Boxing and is also a personal trainer.||Lauren is a sophomore and is newly certified in BodyPump!|
|Leanne is ACSM certified as an Exercise Leader and Health/Fitness Director. She is also a certified Pilates instructor that has been teaching group fitness for 26 years. Leanne also taught and re-created the Aerobic Instructor Training Course in 1993. She currently teaches boot camp, step, tabata, cardio muscle, and toning classes.||Lindsay graduated from UD with degrees in biology and dietetics and is now pursing her Master's in Human Nutrition. She is certificated in spinning and completed her 200-hour yoga certification. She is full of energy and promises to leave you feeling strong, sweaty and smiling whether you take her yoga or cycle class!
|Martha has been at the University for 20 years and is a Professor in Human Development and Family Studies, and the Director of the Delaware Institute of Excellence in Early Childhood. Martha teaches Zumba and Aqua Zumba.||
Paige is a Junior Elementary Education major and has been licensed to teach Zumba since June 2014. She is a new member of the instructor team here at UD and is excited to spread the "Zumba Love" to all of her classes! She loves participating in fun group fitness classes and cannot wait to instruct them!
Patrick is a Sophomore elementary education major with a minor in music performance on trumpet. He certified in indoor cycling and teaches UD cycle. Patrick is a triathlete that has accomplished two 70.3 Ironman distance race and dozens of local races. His interest include running, biking, swimming, and all outdoor activities. He looks to bring energy to all his classes with great routines, designed to allow riders to push themselves to get the results they want.
|Priscilla is a junior Dietetics major with a minor in Strength and Conditioning. She is also a NASM certified personal trainer and recently certified in Cardio Sport and CXWORX.|
Ratna has been practicing yoga for over thirty years. She has practiced yoga from different traditions: Iyengar yoga, S-VYASA India, and Life in Yoga Institute. She has a yoga teaching certification from the Life in Yoga Institute and enjoys teaching and practicing yoga. Ratna is a Professor in the School of Education and serves as the faculty advisor for the UD Yoga Club. She is also a member of the board of directors for Life in Yoga Institute Foundation.

|Serita has a Master's in Public Policy and is a social policy researcher at the University of Delaware's Center for Research in Education and Social Policy (CRESP). Her interests include health disparities, nutrition-related chronic disease, and health determinants. She teaches UD Cycle, BODYPUMP, Pilates, HIIT formats, Cardio Sport, and Kettlebell. She is also certified in TRX. Serita's class are known for dynamic music and positive energy! #comegetsome||Siobhan is a Junior nursing major who teaches Ballet Tone and Zumba and has her certification in Bootcamp and Group Exercise! She has been working with UD Group Fitness for two years now and loves sharing her passion for fitness and her high energy teaching style with all of her participants.|
|Sue is a UD cycle and yoga instructor. She took spin instruction training from the YWCA and a course with Mad Dog. Sue has been practicing yoga for over ten years with Michael Fahey, an Iyengar instructor. She helped start the Triathlon Training Program at UD and is the faculty advisor for the student Tri Club. When she is not at the gym, Sue works on campus in Plant and Soil Science.||Tess is double majoring in International Relations and Economics and is a dedicated yogini. She received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification in hot vinyasa and slowburn yoga and has a background in ashtanga yoga.The former gymnast, uses elements of flexibility, strength, and most importantly breath to create a calming class in hopes that everyone will leave with a clear mind, open heart, and sweaty clothes.|
