Jessica Calderone joined the University of Delaware Sports Information staff in August of 2013. She is the primary contact for the men's and women's soccer, men's and women's swimming and diving, rowing and baseball programs.
Calderone came to the Blue Hens after spending time as a student-worker then Graduate Assistant at Robert Morris University. As a graduate student, Calderone was the primary contact for the RMU women's ice hockey team while doubling as the volunteer coordinator for the 2013 NCAA Frozen Four which was hosted by Robert Morris at CONSOL Energy Center.
As an undergraduate, Calderone worked as a student worker in the sports information department for two years assisting with all 21 Division I sports programs.
During her tenure at RMU, she was also a five-year member of the Colonials softball team playing shortstop and second base. Calderone and RMU won two Northeast Conference regular season titles in her four years.
Calderone graduated from Robert Morris in 2011 with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management. In 2013, Calderone completed her M.S. from Robert Morris in Instructional Leadership.
She is a native of Wilmington, Del. and a graduate of St. Mark's High School.
