REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. -- The University of Delaware women’s golf team wraps up its 2013 fall schedule this weekend as the Blue Hens host their first ever tournament with the First Annual Delaware Fall Invitational.

The tournament will be held on the par 71, 5,978-yard Rehoboth Beach Country Club course, featuring two rounds on Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the final round on Sunday starting at 9 a.m. The nine-team field consists of the Blue Hens along with Brown, Central Connecticut, Delaware State, LIU Brooklyn, Monmouth, Penn, Rollins and Towson.

The invitational will cap a tremendous fall season for the Blue Hens that has seen Delaware capture team titles at the Tignanelli Towson Invitational on Sept. 8-9 and the Rutgers Invitational on Oct. 14-15. Delaware also tied for fifth place at the Princeton Invitational, and last week recorded the lowest three-round total in school history by finishing seventh at the FIU Pat Bradley Invitational.

UD freshman Grace Chua leads the Blue Hens with a 76.00 average round and three top 10 finishes during the fall, while junior Amanda Terzian is second of the team with a 76.10 average and has been named Colonial Athletic Association Women’s Golfer of the Week for two consecutive weeks.

Junior Andi Slane is averaging 77.0 shots per round for Delaware, while sophomore Vimonthip Benjasupawan ranks fourth on the squad with a 77.50 average round.
