Earned four letters with the rowing team during her Blue Hen career.

2016 SEASON
Named team’s Most Inspirational Varsity Rower • served as the coxswain for the Varsity Fours boat during all eight regattas • guided the boat to a second place finish in the third final at the Knecht Cup, a third place finish in the semifinal at the Dad Vail Regatta, and a third place finish at the CAA Championship • Varsity Fours posted wins over George Mason, Duquesne and George Washington • helped the crew place second at the Temple/Lehigh and Saint Joseph’s Invitationals, and finish third at the Lehigh Invitational • NCAA Inspiration Award nominee • named to National College Athlete Honor Society • earned the PNC Bank Student-Athlete Achiever Award on Feb. 18.

2015 SEASON
Competed with the Varsity Fours and the Second Varsity Fours boats during the season • named to National College Athlete Honor Society • selected to CAA Academic Honor Roll.

2014 SEASON
Named to CAA Academic Honor Roll.


2013 SEASON
Participated in the Murphy Cup, Knecht Cup and the Bucknell Quad Meet as a member of the Novice Fours • registered a third place finish with the Novice Fours at the Occoquan Sprints • CAA Academic Honor Roll.

 
HIGH SCHOOL
Member of both the lacrosse and soccer teams for four years at Wantagh High School • received all-academic All-American honors for lacrosse • selected to the soccer all-county team • member of the National Honor Society • named a Cystic Fibrosis Hero of Hope.

Katherine “Kate” Sneddon • born Aug. 22, 1994 • daughter of Lloyd and Linda Sneddon • has two sisters, Andrea and Sara • biology major at Delaware • fluent in Swahili • team representative to Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in 2015-16 • took part in APPLE Conference, a national training symposium dedicated to substance abuse prevention and health promotion for student-athletes and athletics administrators (Jan., 2016 in Grapevine, Tex.).
