Saw first extensive action of career as a defensive midfielder as a redshirt freshman • played in all 15 games and recorded four shots and 10 groundballs with three caused turnovers • had career-high three groundballs in win over Lafayette.

Saw backup action in season opener vs. Detroit but did not play again and retained freshman eligibility • assisted on a late goal in that victory and also picked up a groundball.

Elijah Joseph Conte ("conti") • born Aug. 12, 1993 • son of Barrie Jacobs and Nick Conte • history major at Delaware • cancer survivor who had leukemia as a child and was given a 15 percent chance to survive • led the team and was among national leaders in fundraising for the HEADStrong Foundation Lacrosse Mustache Madness event each of the last two years, raising nearly $10,000 • HEADStrong is a resource for cancer patients and families, helping them by providing essential programs and services to improve quality of life • youngest of four children • brother, Dylan, played college lacrosse at NCAA Division III Kean University • enjoys playing golf in his spare time • has worked as a wealth management intern at the Bank of New York Mellon and as a lacrosse coach during the summers.
