Third-year member of the squad as longstick midfielder • expected to be Hens' top longstick midfielder this spring • one of team's most improved players • tough, physical defender who has excellent stickwork in the open field.

2015 SEASON (Game by Game)

Played in thirteen games and started two fo them against High Point and Villanova • Had a goal against St. Joseph's • Recorded 22 groundballs and caused 7 turnovers on the season

2014 SEASON (Game by Game)
Saw action in all 16 games as a longstick midfielder • dished out an assist in 10-9 win over Binghamton • recorded eight groundballs and ranked fourth on the team with nine caused turnovers • had two groundballs each vs. Binghamton and Manhattan • had a caused turnover in six games with two vs. Mt. St. Mary's, regular season game vs. Hofstra, and Manhattan. 

Did not see game action in first season at Delaware and retained freshman eligibility.

Standout player in lacrosse at Archbishop Spalding High School • began lacrosse career as a goalkeeper before moving to longstick midfielder as a sophomore.

Joseph "Joey" Prieto ("pre–etto") • born Oct. 30, 1993 • son of Joe and Christine Prieto • criminal justice major with a minor in pre-law at Delaware • worked at Aamco Transmissions during the summer • has three siblings, two sisters Tara and Domenica, and brother, Nick • mother is a graduate of Delaware rival Towson University.
