FAIRFAX, Va.  -- The University of Delaware and George Washington University women’s rowing teams competed in five events in a non-scoring scrimmage Saturday on the Occoquan Reservoir.

“This was a real good experience for us,” said Delaware head coach Kevin Gruber. “It's always valuable, even in an informal scrimmage setting, to line up and compete with another team. We appreciate George Washington putting it together.”
