WILMINGTON, N.C. -- The University of Delaware women’s golf squad fired team scores of 301 and 306 on Saturday to finish the day in second place following the first day of the UNCW Seahawk Classic.

Elon leads the nine-team field with a two-round score of 603, while the Blue Hens sit four shots back with a 607 score. Old Dominion and UNCW are tied for third place at 616, while Eastern Michigan is fifth with a 619 score.

Blue Hen freshman Vitoria Teixeira carded a five over par 76-73-149 on the par 72, 6,106-yard River Landing Golf Course, finishing the day tied for fourth place in the individual standings. Junior Amanda Terzian was the second Blue Hen to finish the day among the top 10, as she is tied for eighth place following her seven over par 78-73-151 on Saturday.

Redshirt sophomore Andi Slane is tied for 12th place after carding a nine over par 72-81-153, while sophomore Vimonthip Benjasupawan is tied for 14th place following her 10 over par day of 75-79-154.

Sophomore Nathalie Filler carded a 17 over par 80-81-161 to finish Saturday’s action tied for 28th place, while junior Annie Bowlsby fired a 21 over par 86-79-165 to tie for 36th place. Freshman Grace Chua, who recorded a 23 over par 81-86-167, will enter Sunday’s final round tied for 42nd place.

Lori Beth Adams of UNCW leads the field with a one over par 74-71-145, while two Elon players are each one shot back.

The final round of the UNCW Seahawk Classic will begin with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. on Sunday.
