POSITIONS

Sport Official

If you love sports and want a fun, flexible job, then being an intramural sports official is the job for you! This position plays an integral role in the program. These are the students that are on the front line working directly with all of our participants.

Previous experience is not necessary but a basic knowledge of sports is very helpful (even if your knowledge comes from watching rather than competing). Simply show up at the training meeting to learn everything you need to know and then you will be put on the schedule. Officials start out at $8.25 per hour and receive a raise based on hours worked. Work Study students are encouraged to apply but it is not required for this job. Training dates for each sport are listed below.

Office Staff

The office staff plays an important role within the intramural program. These students are responsible for the day to day communication with all of our participants. They will do general office work like data entry, answer phones and handle participant questions. Customer service is the main skill needed for this role. Most students work about 10-15 hours per week and the schedule is set for the semester. Work Study is required for this position.
