Pat Rogers begins his first season as the University of Delaware men's basketball director of operations in 2016-17.
Rogers previously served three seasons on the Notre Dame men’s basketball staff along with UD head coach Martin Ingelsby, including the final two as video coordinator. In his position, he worked with the day-to-day oversight of the program and in the administration of the Notre Dame Boys Basketball camps held during the summer.
A native of Lake Zurich, Ill., Rogers was a student manager for the Irish for two seasons before graduating from Notre Dame in 2010 with a degree in accountancy from the Mendoza College of Business. He then spent two years as a graduate assistant with the Providence men’s basketball program and received a master’s degree in business administration, before serving as director of basketball operations at The Citadel during the 2012-13 season.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join the University of Delaware community and have the chance to work with Coach Ingelsby, who I view as both a mentor and a friend,” Rogers said. “I’m ready to hit the ground running and get to work.”
“Pat was an integral part of our success at Notre Dame and I am thrilled that he will join us at Delaware," Ingelsby said. "He will spearhead our video and analytics efforts and work closely with our student-athletes to help enhance their experience here. His versatility and skill set make him an extremely valuable addition to our staff."
