Day 2 Results

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The University of Delaware women's golf team shot a score of 310 on Tuesday for a two-day total of 630 the as the Blue Hens finished the second day of the NCAA Division I Columbus Regional in 15th place.

Fourth ranked Florida continues to lead the18-team field with a total score of 590. No. 29 Ohio State jumped one spot to second with a 591 total with No. 5 Florida State in third at 597. No. 12 South Carolina and No. 33 Michigan round out the top five with a total score of 598 and 605 respectively.

The three-day tournament is being held at the par 72, 6,416-yard Scarlet Course at the Ohio State University Golf Club.

Delaware sophomore Ashley Dingman leads all Blue Hens in the individual standings as she is now tied for 46th place, improving on her first-round score of 80 with a three over par 38-37-75 and a total score of 155, during her second. Dingman finished the day with five bogeys but kept pace with 11 pars and two birdies on the third and 16th holes.

Senior Grace Chua posted a six-over par 39-39-78 on the par 72 for a total score of 157 to end the second round in a tie for 57thplace, with freshman Ariane Klotz, who is also tied for 57thplace after she shot an eight-over par 40-40-80 for a 157 total score.

Sophomore Valentina Mueller tied for 86th place with a nine-over par score of 40-41-81 and a total score of 165 while senior Vitoria Teixeira posted a five-over par 38-39-77 for a 162 total score to finish the day in 80th place.

Maddie Szeryk of Texas A&M leads the individual standings with a two under par 32-38-70, for a two-day total score of 143.

The final round of the three-day event will begin with the first and 10th tees at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
