CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Blue Hens finished day two of the Harvard Fall Classic by tying Boston University, 6-6.
Both teams took home four singles matches and two doubles contests while Delaware pulled out an impressed three three-set wins.
Junior Sara Komer (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) notched her fourth victory of the season by defeating Emily Kim, 6-1, 6-4.
Classmate Draga Sabotic (Okemos, Mich./Okemos) posted the 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 win over Dani Blaser while senior Arielle Shuren (Montebello, N.Y./Suffern) topped Clara Falxa, 2-6, 7-5, 6-2.
Freshman Sarah Whited (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) came from behind for the 1-6, 6-3, 7-5 victory against Lily O’Fagan.
In doubles action, senior Amanda Studnicki (Normal, Ill./Normal West) and junior Sarah Hall (West Orange, N.J./Mount Saint Dominic Academy) trounced Kim and Lil Burchell, 6-1. Junior Annie Jaskulski (Wilmington, Del./Friends) and Whited outdid Falxa and O’Fagan, 7-5.
