PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Delaware women’s golf team sits in fifth place out of 10 teams following Saturday’s opening two rounds at the Princeton Invitational.

The Blue Hens fired rounds of 315 and 305 on Saturday, finishing the day with a 620 total. Georgetown leads the field with a 609 score, while Harvard is second at 613 and Rollins College is third at 616.

UD sophomore Ariane Klotz carded a six over par 78-72-150 on the par 72, 6,100-yard Springdale Golf Course, ending the day tied for fifth place. Jacquelyn Eleey of Georgetown holds a five-shot lead at two under par, while Seher Atwal of Rollins sits in second place at three over.

Ashley Dingman is tied for 15th place with a nine over par 77-76-153, while Isabella Rimton fired a 15 over par 80-79-159 to end the day tied for 38th place.

Josefina Fernandez-Davila (80-80-160) and Valentina Mueller (82-78-160) are each tied for 42nd place at 16 over par while Kylie Greulich, playing as an individual, finished the day in 61st place with a 28 over par 86-86-172.

The final round of the tournament will begin on Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
