NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women’s golf team will compete in six tournaments and one dual match as the Blue Hens announced their 2018 spring schedule on Wednesday.

Delaware, led by seventh-year head coach Patty Post, opens the season on Feb. 25-26 when the Blue Hens participate in the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Ariz. UD will then take part in the UNF Collegiate at the Jacksonville (Fla.) Golf and Country Club on Mar. 5-6.

The Blue Hens head back to the state of Arizona on Mar. 16-18 to compete in the Clover Cup hosted by Notre Dame at Longbow Golf Course in Mesa, Ariz., before competing in the Henssler Intercollegiate at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, Ga. on Mar. 26-27.

Delaware travels back to Jacksonville to take on North Florida in a dual meet on Mar. 28-29, and then will participate in the Harvard Invitational at The Oaks Club in Osprey, Fla. on Apr. 7-8.

The Blue Hens will then look for their third consecutive Colonial Athletic Association title on Apr. 13-15 when they compete in the conference championship at St. James Plantation in Southport, N.C.

Delaware posted second place team finishes at the Rutgers Invitational and Delaware Invitational during the fall, while finishing third at the Nittany Lion Invitational and Yale Intercollegiate.

Ariane Klotz led the team with a 75.07 average round and recorded four top-10 finishes, while Ashley Dingman was second on the squad with a 75.14 stroke average and was the tournament medalist at the Delaware Invitational.
