Head Coach Natasha Adair
“Prior to the game, we talked about putting it all together and I challenged this team to finish what we started. You can’t let our last two games dictate what we’ve built this season. We needed to make a statement and use that momentum to propel us into the postseason. And this team responded in a very big way. I’m proud of our defensive effort, which fuels our offense. I love the excitement this team has for one another. They’ve been working so hard from day one. What a wonderful way to end the regular season.”
Sophomore Samone DeFreese
“It meant a lot to us to get this game as we needed good momentum going into next week’s CAA Tournament. We needed to clean things up and display Delaware basketball, which entails playing hard and rebounding. Rebounding comes down to toughness. It doesn’t require any talent; it’s all about the fight and working harder than our opponent. Towson has a lot of height, but we knew we could work harder and push back.”
