MESA, Ariz. – The University of Delaware women’s golf team sits in eighth place while sophomore Ariane Klotz is tied for 14th following Saturday’s second round at the Clover Cup.

The Blue Hens fired a 300 team score on Saturday, ending the day in eighth place out of 16 squads with a 601 two-round total. Arizona State and Ohio State are tied for the lead with 575 scores, while Oklahoma is third with a 579 total.

Klotz carded her second consecutive one over par round of 73 on Saturday on the par 72, 6,184-yard Longbow Golf Club course, as she finished the day tied for 14th place with a two over par 73-73-146. Valentina Mueller is tied for 30th place with a six over par 74-76-150, while Thitaree Sakulbunpanich is tied for 38th place with a seven over par 71-80-151.

Isabella Rimton, who has recorded an 83-76-159, and Ashley Dingman, who has shot an 84-75-159, are each tied for 68th place at 15 over par.

Jaclyn Lee of Ohio State leads the field at three under par, while Olivia Mehaffey of Arizona State is one shot back. The final round of the invitational will begin at 8 a.m. Pacific Time on Sunday.
