WILLIAMSBURG Va. – The University of Delaware men’s golf team remains in a tie for 14th place while senior Blaine Lafferty is tied for 16th place on Monday following the second round of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate.

The Blue Hens carded a 298 team score on Monday, remaining in a tie for 14th place out of 24 squads with a 602 two-round total. Utah Valley continues to lead the way with a 576 score, while Southern Illinois is just one shot back.

Lafferty fired a one over par 71 on the par 70, 6,794-yard River Course at Kingsmill Resort on Monday, ending the day tied for 16th place with a six over par 75-71-146. Jack Gianniny, who shot a 74 during his second round, is tied for 58th place with a 12 over par 78-74-152.

Christian Chapman, who has carded a 78-76-154, and Kieran Purcell, who has recorded a 77-77-154, are each tied for 76th place at 14 over par. Jack Melville is tied for 83rd place at 74-81-155, 15 over par.

Chad Hess of Old Dominion leads the field at even par, while Brendan Pell of Loyola (Md.) is one shot behind. The final round of the tournament will begin with a 9:15 a.m. shogun start on Tuesday.
