KENNESAW, Ga. – The University of Delaware women’s golf team sits in seventh place out of 11 squads following Monday’s opening two rounds at the Henssler Intercollegiate.

The Blue Hens carded rounds of 318 and 298 on Monday, finishing the day with a two-round total of 616. Kent State leads the standings with a 587 score, while Ole Miss is in second place at 592.

UD freshman Thitaree Sakulbunpanich is tied for 13th place in the individual standings with a five over par 74-75-149 on the par 72, 6,032-yard Pinetree Country Club course, while Ariane Klotz fired a six over par 81-69-150 on the day and is tied for 17th place.

Valentina Mueller is tied for 43rd place with a 16 over par 82-78-160, while Isabella Rimton shot an 18 over par 86-76-162 and is tied for 48th place.

Ashley Dingman carded a 19 over par 81-82-163 to end the day tied for 52nd place while Aashaka Desai, playing as an individual, is 61st with a 34 over par 89-89-178.

Pimnipa Panthong of Kent State fired a three under par 68-73-141 on Monday and holds a four-shot lead. The final round of the tournament will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday.
