WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Blue Hens finally returned to the courts after a few cancellations due to weather and posted the 5-2 victory over Nova Southeastern at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center.

Pilkington followed with a 7-5, 6-2 decision against No. 30 Ana Navas in top-flight action while Komer clinched the match in the second flight by topping Andrea Ivanovic, 7-6 (2), 6-3 for her fifth straight victory.
Head coach Laura Travis
“This was our first outdoor match and we adapted well to the hot, windy conditions and against a tenacious Florida team that is well versed in this weather.  Everyone left what they had on the court and it will be a terrific training opportunity to turn around and compete in similar conditions tomorrow.”
