DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Delaware wrapped up its spring break trip to Florida Friday afternoon by cruising to the 7-0 win against Bethune-Cookman at the City Island Tennis Center.
The Blue Hens (8-5) opened the day by sweeping the team doubles point.
Sophomore Brooke Pilkington (Virginia Beach, Va./Cape Henry Collegiate) and junior Sara Komer (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) led off with the 6-4 top-flight victory over Rehaaana Butt and Matea Roki. 
Senior Amanda Studnicki (Normal, Ill./Normal West) and junior Sarah Hall (West Orange, N.J./Mount Saint Dominic Academy) followed with a 7-5 win against Karen Romero and Alejandra Vidal in the second spot.
Freshman Sarah Whited (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) kicked off singles action by defeating Phatsimo Ruele, 6-1, 6-1 in the fifth flight while junior Annie Jaskulski (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Friends) put UD ahead, 3-0, with the 6-1, 6-2 victory over Romero.
Pilkington clinched the match in top-flight singles by topping Roki, 6-4, 6-2.
Komer garnered her sixth straight win on the year in No. 2 singles with the 3-6, 6-1, ret. decision versus Butt while Studnicki defeated Vidal, 3-6, 6-3, 10-5.
Delaware also won by default in No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.
