Bethpage, N.Y. – The Blue Hens women’s tennis team returned to Colonial Athletic Association play Thursday afternoon with a 6-1 victory over Hofstra at Sportime Tennis Center.
For the second straight match, Delaware (9-5, 1-1 CAA) collected all three doubles wins to tally the team point.
Sophomore Brooke Pilkington (Virginia Beach, Va./Cape Henry Collegiate) led off singles action with her fourth straight top-flight victory by defeating Michal Kaplan, 6-2, 6-1.
Junior Sara Komer (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) followed with her team-best seventh consecutive win with the 6-1, 6-0 No. 2 singles decision over Jasmine King.
In the fifth spot, junior Sarah Hall (West Orange, N.J./Mount Saint Dominic Academy) topped Meheq Khokhar, 7-5, 6-3, while freshman Sarah Whited (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) clinched the win in the sixth slot.  Whited earned the 15th win of her rookie campaign with a 6-2, 2-6, 6-1 victory against Ronia Dolabany.
Junior Annie Jaskulski (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Friends) wrapped the day with a No. 4 singles win versus Sarah Herndon.
