OSPREY, Fla. – The University of Delaware women’s golf team finished in second place while Ariane Klotz and Thitaree Sakulbunpanich posted top three finishes this weekend at the Harvard Invitational.

Delaware carded a 290 score during Sunday’s final round, the lowest by any squad on the day and the second lowest in program history. The Blue Hens, who fired 309 and 306 scores on Saturday, placed second out of 11 teams with a 905 total. Harvard claimed the title with a 902 score, followed by Delaware and Rollins at 907.

Klotz shot a two under par 70 during her final round on the par 72, 6,138-yard Heron Course at The Oaks Club, finishing in second place in the individual standings with a three over par 76-73-70-219. Seher Atwal of Rollins was the tournament medalist by finishing at two over par. Klotz was UD’s low finisher for the sixth time this year, while also posting her sixth top 10 result of the season.

Sakulbunpanich closed the invitational with a one under par 71 to tie for third place with a five over par 76-74-71-221. Ashley Dingman carded a 15 over par 80-77-74-231 to tie for 17th place, while Valentina Mueller tied for 24th place with a 19 over par 77-82-76-235.

Isabella Rimton fired a 24 over par 83-82-75-240 to tie for 35th place while Kylie Greulich, playing as an individual, finished in 51st place with a 33 over par 80-81-88-249.

Delaware will look to capture its third straight conference title when the Blue Hens compete in the CAA Championship next weekend at St. James Plantation in Southport, N.C.
