He led Nipmuc Regional to a third-place team finish in the State Division 2 tournament by firing a two-over 74, the lowest round of his high school career. Roberto Nieves, a Miami, Fla. native who attends Christopher Columbus High School, was the 2018 Florida Junior Tour medalist at Stone Creek Golf Club by carding a 70-65-135. He ranks 235th in the AJGA Rolex National Rankings and 150th in the class of 2018, according to Junior Golf Scoreboard.

Matt Pulgini, a native of Middletown, Del. who attends Appoquinimink High School, was ranked the top high school prospect in the state of Delaware. He shot a 71-74-75-220 to tie for eighth place at the 2017 Hudson Junior Invitational, and tied for 10th place at the 2017 Press Thornton Future Masters with a 71-67-73-211. According to Junior Golf Scoreboard, Pulgini was ranked 256th in the class of 2018.

“We are very excited to have Roberto, Matt and Cole join our team this fall!” Post said. “Each of these individuals brings wonderful character, talent and determination with them to Delaware. All three have excelled in the classroom and on the links. In losing three seniors this year we have big shoes to fill; these student-athletes will do a fantastic job! We look forward to their next four years here at UD!”

Alibozek, Nieves and Pulgini join Andrew Jacobs and Ryan Pongrac, who both signed with the Blue Hens last fall, as next year's freshman class.
