Phil Tribble joined the University of Delaware athletics staff as associate director of development for intercollegiate athletics in March, 2010.

Tribble, who most recently served in both annual and capital giving roles at Loyola University in Baltimore, works with alumni, parents and friends of Delaware Athletics to build philanthropic relationships with Athletics Administration, coaches and teams.

While at Loyola, Tribble assisted with fundraising for Loyola's Ridley Athletic Complex, a 6,000-seat stadium for lacrosse and soccer, which opened in March, 2012. He also previously worked in development and in the athletics department at Gardner-Webb University and Duke University.

A native of Brazil, Ind., Tribble earned his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame in 2003 and went on to earn both his master's of sports administration and master's of business administration from Ohio University in 2005.

As part of his graduate school requirements, he worked as a ticket office assistant at Duke University in 2004.

He served as a promotions intern at Duke for four months in 2006 before serving one year as the director of the Bulldog Club at Gardner-Webb University where he managed all aspects of the university's athletics annual fund program.

He joined Loyola in May, 2007 and served as assistant director of special gifts, coordinator of the John Early Society, and most recently assistant director of annual giving.

Tribble resides in Ridley Park, Pa. with his wife, Alison, their son, Andrew, and daughters, Lucy and Margaret.

Alison is a pediatric infectious diseases fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
