Shawn Hanlon begins his third year with the University of Delaware Athletics in 2014-15 as a graduate assistant athletic trainer working primarily with field hockey, women's outdoor track & field, and men's and women's tennis.
Hanlon received his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Rowan University in 2012. As an undergraduate, he earned the Rowan University Athletic Training Leadership Award and
National Athletic Trainer's Association Bobby Gunn Student Leadership award as a senior.
He has previously served as the New Jersey state representative on the EATA Student Delegation (2010-2012) and EATA Student Program Chair in 2012. He has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association since 2009.
Hanlon is currently pursuing his master's in exercise science with a concentration in sports medicine at the University of Delaware.
A native of West Deptford, N.J., Hanlon currently resides in Newark.
