Kelly McGuire arrived at Delaware in August 2012 as an athletic training graduate assistant.
McGuire is the primary athletic trainer for the women’s soccer team and is responsible for all treatment sessions, practices, games, and travel.
McGuire graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2012 with a bachelor of science degree in athletic training. She is currently pursuing her master degree at the University of Delaware in exercise science with a sports medicine concentration.
As a student at UConn, McGuire worked as an athletic training student at East Catholic High School and Glastonbury High School in addition to working with the University of Hartford women’s soccer team, UConn football team, and Sussex County Skyhawks.
McGuire is currently a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and Athletic Training Society of New Jersey.
