Blue Hens fan favorite Kayla Miller rejoined the Delaware women's basketball program in November 2015 as the team's director of basketball operations and is in her third season in the role during the 2017-18 campaign.

In her role, Miller is responsible for the oversight of travel arrangements, practice scheduling, team managers and film exchange in addition to assisting with administrative duties.

A native of Wilmington, Del. and graduate of Ursuline Academy, Miller returned to her alma mater after spending the past year as the varsity head girl's basketball coach at St. Mark's Catholic High School and with the Delaware Valley Lady Shock AAU club. She also worked with Titus Sports Academy, Dynamic Physical Therapy, Archmere Academy, Sanford School and the Wilmington Blue Rocks.

A dedicated advocate for service and helping others, Miller has also volunteered with the Special Olympics of Delaware, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Delaware, Kay's Kamp, Ronald McDonald House and A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital amongst numerous other organizations.

On the court, Miller spent three seasons with the Blue Hens after transferring to the University of Delaware from George Washington following her freshman season.

During her tenure, the Hens captured back-to-back CAA titles and a NCAA Sweet 16® appearance.  She finished her career 14th in program history with 256 assists and ranked 17th nationally during her senior season with a 2.18 assist to turnover ratio.

Miller graduated from the University of Delaware in May 2012 with a degree in exercise science with concentrations in exercise physiology and sport management and minor in disability studies.
