RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Delaware men’s and women’s tennis teams learned their postseason fate Monday afternoon as the Colonial Athletic Association released its matchups for the upcoming Championships.

The Blue Hens men’s team earned the seventh-seed and will face No. 2 College of Charleston at 9 a.m. Friday.  With a win, the men would advance to meet either No. 3 William & Mary or No. 6 Hofstra at 10 a.m. Saturday.  The CAA men’s championship match is set for 10 a.m. Sunday.

Delaware finished the regular season with a record of 4-10 while going 0-4 in conference play.

On the women’s side, the Blue Hens were tabbed fifth and will matchup against No. 4 James Madison at 3 p.m. Friday in the CAA quarterfinals.  A win over the Dukes would put Delaware in the semifinals with a 2 p.m. Saturday match against either No. 1 UNCW or No. 8 Hofstra.  The CAA women’s championship match is slated for 2 p.m. Saturday.

The UD women completed regular season action with records of 8-7 overall and 3-2 in the CAA.

All CAA Championship action will take place at the College of William & Mary’s Millie West Tennis Facility in Williamsburg, Va.
