Jordan McKee is in his second season as a full-time assistant coach for the National Champion Blue Hens during the 2017-18 campaign.

In his role, McKee is responsible for the oversight of travel logistics, video analysis, equipment and development of the program's forwards and midfielders.

McKee has helped lead the Blue Hens as a persistent threat on the national stage, both on the field and in the classroom.

Delaware has garnered one National Championship (2016), back-to-back Colonial Athletic Association Tournament Championships and two CAA regular season titles while appearing in the CAA Tournament and reaching NFHCA National Academic Team status in his two seasons. The Hens have also featured four All-Americans, six All-Region honorees, one CWSA Honda Sport Award selection, one CAA Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, two CAA Players of the Year, one CAA Rookie of the Year, 13 All-CAA performers, two CAA All-Rookie Team picks and 22 NFHCA National Academic Squad members.

In 2017, the Blue Hens collected their fifth straight CAA Tournament crown while finishing the year with a 15-5 overall record and going undefeated (5-0) for the second straight season. Delaware ranked in the Top 10 of nine NCAA statistical categories (scoring average, goals per game, goals against average, scoring margin, winning percentage, assists per game, points per game, save percentage, defensive saves) and 15 CAA categories while setting the school-record with 13 defensive saves.

During the 2016 slate, McKee helped guide Delaware to the program's first-ever NCAA Division I Championship title as the squad also posted a team-record and nation-best 23 victories and 90.2 winning percentage. He was crucial in the training of sophomore midfielder Greta Nauck, who took home the Honda Award for field hockey following the completion of the year, and junior forward Taylor Lister, who was named to the U.S. Field Hockey Developmental Squad during the summer of 2017.  The Blue Hens posted an outstanding scoring margin of 100-39 while Nauck led the nation in points per game (3.04) and goals per game (1.32).

McKee joined head coach Rolf van de Kerkhof, fellow assistant coach Missy Arenz and volunteer assistant coach Jacki Coveleski in bringing home all of the 2016 coaching honors as the staff earned NFHCA Division I Coach of the Year, CAA Coach of the Year, ECAC Eastern Coach of the Year and NFHCA Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year accolades.

The Northern Ireland native was elevated to a full-time assistant in April 2016 after serving the previous two seasons as a volunteer assistant with the program and in total has more than five years experience working with Delaware field hockey as a summer camp coach and counselor.

During his tenure at UD, McKee has led the Hens to four straight CAA Tournament titles and NCAA Tournament appearances.
Prior to joining the Delaware staff, he coached with the North Down Hockey Club in Comber, Northern Ireland where the Women's First XI team finished as runners-up in the 2014 Irish Hockey Trophy.  He also spent time with the Servette Hockey Club as a two-year head coach with the Women's 1st XI team that collected indoor national champions titles and promotion to the Premier Division, and an assistant coach for the Men's 1st XI squad, which was victorious at the European Champions Challenge in Lousada, Portugal in 2011.
A graduate of Queen's University Belfast, McKee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and politics in 2009 while picking up a post graduate diploma in sports development and coaching from the University of Ulster in 2014.
McKee and his wife, Vicky, reside in Philadelphia.
