A senior from México City, México, Kim Milla is a three-time letterwinner with the Blue Hens women's tennis team.  She currently leads the team with 38 career singles victories, a mark good to tie for 30th in program history.  Milla is also 17th all-time with 46 career doubles wins.  Milla and her teammates continue CAA action with spring break contests at UNCW (today) and the College of Charleston (Thursday). Delaware rounds out the break by traveling to Longwood on Saturday.

1.     What is your major? Career aspirations?
Exercise Science, with a minor in Psychology.  I want to become a researcher in motor development.

Caring, food lover, and curious
4.     Most memorable moment as a member of the Blue Hens?
The time we played (and beat) Towson. I was playing the last singles match on court and my opponent’s cheer was obnoxious, following me through the fence at every side change and dancing every time I would lose a point. My teammates responded with more cheering and dancing. hahaha. It was incredible when I won the match caused it helped my team beat Towson, and it we won playing fairly even though their sportsmanship was poorly.
5.     Who is the funniest on the team?
Tied between Abby Martinez and Denny LaMachia. I would never doubt Abby with her impersonations. However, Denny always has clever remarks to add.
6.     What do you like to do on your spare time?
I mostly like hanging out with my close friends, running in White Clay creek or the reservoir, and reading.
7.     Favorite meal?
My mom’s Mexican chicken soup!
8.  Who is your favorite musical artist?
John Mayer
9.  What is your game-day playlist?
Depends on my mood, but it usually involves Arctic Monkeys and Calvin Harris.
10.  Any superstitions?
After I win a point, I have to play the next point with the same ball. If I lost the point, I changed the ball

12.  If you had one wish, what would it be?
To have unlimited resources reserved for traveling the world! And world peace, of course.

Superpower: reading minds. Superhero: Batman
14.  What is your favorite vacation spot?
Mexico City! I’ve been at UD for so long that home has now become the new vacation spot.

Inception. 21 Jump Street is also high up on my list.

I used to read hands back in freshman year

-When people sneeze or cough too many times in a row.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with a concert, visit Barcelona, and learn how to play an instrument.

My tricycle! When I was too big to fit in it, I used it as a scooter
