• Day 3 Results

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. -- The University of Delaware Blue Hens swimming and diving teams competed in the third day of the 2017 Colonial Athletic Association Championship on Friday at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center.

The final day of the four-day event will get underway Saturday afternoon at 12 p.m. with the finals scheduled for 6 p.m.

Saturday's action features the 1650 freestyle, the men’s 3-meter diving and five other swimming events.

Day three was highlighted by Delaware's Mina Feyrer setting and breaking her own school record in the 100 yard butterfly. Feyer swam a 55.43 in the morning preliminary session before breaking her hours-old record by recording a third place time of 55.20.

Other highlights included Patrick Savidge (3:56.62) and Cory Camp (3:59.54) finishing fifth and sixth in the men's 400 IM, and Julia Capobianco (55.81) finishing seventh in the 100 butterfly.

The Delaware men are currently in fifth place while the Delaware women are in seventh place.
