NEWARK, Del. - Nearly 150 former University of Delaware football student-athletes from the past seven decades returned to campus Friday morning to take part in the annual Delaware Football Alumni Golf Outing at Newark Country Club.

Although rain washed out the golf for the second straight year, a good time was had by all as alumni gathered to see old friends and retell stories from the past.

New Delaware head coach Danny Rocco was also on hand to address the alums and welcome them back to Blue Hens Country.

Many of the alums will stick around on Saturday evening to watch the annual Blue-White Spring Game at 6 p.m. at Delaware Stadium.

The Spring Game follows Delaware's annual Fandemonium VIII which will take place from 4-7 p.m. in front of Delaware Stadium. Pony rides, inflatables, games, and prizes will all be part of the free event.
