GRAND LAKE, Colo. – Blue Hens junior Becky Gohsler (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham) continued to rack up the accolades this season as she was selected Friday afternoon to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I Mid-Atlantic Region Second team.

Gohsler is one of 128 student-athletes in Division I to be selected to one of the eight All-Region teams, which include the Mid-Atlantic Region, Northeast Region, South Region, and West/Midwest Region.

The midfielder helped the Blue Hens to a 9-8 overall record with a mark of 4-2 in the CAA, which included a berth in the CAA Tournament for the first time since 2015.

A 2017 All-CAA First Team, and CAA All-Tournament Team honoree, Gohsler tied for seventh in the CAA with 2.17 goals per game and led the Hens with 46 points on 36 goals and 10 assists to go along with 43 draw controls, 36 ground balls and 29 caused turnovers.  A two-time CAA Player of the Week, Gohsler posted career-high six draw controls in a crucial win at Drexel, registered six points in three different games, and tallied career-high six goals against Georgetown. She is fourth in program history with 105 career draw controls.

Gohsler is now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-American teams, which will be announced on Wednesday, May 17th. The IWLCA will honor the National All-Americans at the IWLCA All-American Banquet on Saturday June 3, 2017 at the Hunt Valley Inn in Hunt Valley, Md.
