NEWARK, Del. --- University of Delaware's Director of Golf Programs Patty Post has announced that Siena Ferrick will be joining the Blue Hens women's golf team and will begin playing for UD next fall.

Ferrick, a native of Vienna, Va., was one of the state's top high school players during her four years at James Madison High School. She was an All-State selection in 2013 after shooting a 78-79-157, All-Conference in 2014 after posting a 74-77-151, and All-Region in 2015 with a score of 75. She was also a top 20 state finisher during her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons.  

As a four-year member of the All-Virginia Team in the Poindexter Cup Matches, Siena also carries a 4.0-plus grade point average at James Madison and will major in marketing at Delaware.

“We are excited to have Siena joining us this fall,” Post commented. “She will be a positive influence on our team as she has such a great disposition on and off the course!  We welcome her with open arms!”
